But when another faceless YouTuber starts a flame war with Alastor, it sparks a rivalry that shoves Alastor into the limelight — risking his true identity and changing the way Lucy views him forever.
“Hi!” Lucifer’s voice cracks just a bit. He clears his throat and tries again. “Um, hi. Are you—I’m your date? I think? Sorry if I kept you waiting, had a little trouble finding the place.”
At first, the man is silent as his piercing, grey-green eyes go wide with surprise before he breaks into the biggest, most dazzling smile Lucifer has ever seen.

Lilith mistakenly assumes Lucifer is dating a stranger at the party who, coincidentally, is dressed as a priest. She encouraged him to just go for it and give him a literal push in the right direction.
The "priest," named Alastor, introduces himself, and after some banter, asks Lucifer to pretend to be his boyfriend to avoid unwanted attention from another guest. Lucifer agrees and they both start their play, spending their time sharing drinks, laughter, and dancing together.
As the night progresses, their playful act starts feeling more genuine, blurring the line between acting and genuine connection.
