“What are we gonna do?” Bucky asked sincerely. Sam was actually taken aback by how seriously Bucky was taking this.
“I’m thinking of taking her back to Louisiana with me,” Sam stated. Bucky scoffed.
“You don’t know how to take care of a super soldier teenager.”

She just shook her head and led the two of them through to the living room where the TV was still playing, showing the latest worldwide news.
“…concerningly similar to the methodology of the Winter Soldier.” The reporter was saying, standing with her back to a bank, somewhere in Europe.
The picture on the screen switched to a picture of a young girl, wearing something that was almost identical to what Bucky had been wearing when Sam had first met him as the Winter Soldier, right down to the muzzle and metal arm. She was looking straight up into the camera that had caught her, and the reporter was explaining it in the background.
“The only security camera that wasn’t disabled before the massacre began caught this image of a young girl entering the bank- wearing clothing almost identical to the Winter Soldier again.”
It switched again to pictures of some of the victims, a mother and son, the bank tellers, a few managers, some more random civilians who lives had ended because they had chosen to go to the bank that day.
